Introduction
The Jackal is the species of 3 small to medium sized species, of the genius Canis, the three different types of Jackal are found in Africa, south-west Asia and south-east Europe. The jackal species i am going to be using is the black backed jackal.
The Jackal is a omnivores predator, but also a scavenger. they have long legs and smalls jaws perfect for hunting mammals, reptiles and birds. Jackals have the perfect structure for long distance running, which they use to hunt there prey, or scavenge for food.

The Black backed jackal's habitat is located in 2 areas of Africa; south-east Africa, including countries such as South-Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. the second region is north eastern Africa, which includes countries such as Kenya and Somalia. The Black backed jackal is known to live in woodland in east Africa and savanna south Africa.
